About the Role:
Semper Home Loans, a Rhode Island-based mortgage lender, is seeking a Sr. Residential Mortgage Closer/Post-Closer to join our Closing Department. This individual will play a critical role in the final stages of the residential mortgage process and must have a strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all corporate file standards are met.
Confirm all insurance documentation, product requirements, disclosures, and guidelines are complete and accurate within the loan file.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with Processing and Secondary departments.
Oversee transfer of closed loan files to investors.
Gather, compile, organize, ship, and track investor-requested loan documents.
Prepare, send, and monitor the status of FHA case binders.
Assist with post-closing responsibilities, as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and third-party partners.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

This role is pivotal to the success of the post-closing process and ensures timely and accurate delivery of loans for purchase.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

1–3 years of mortgage closing or post-closing experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude, team player, and self-starter.
